Wesley first started dancing in 2007, taking hip hop and street dancing classes. In 2011 he had his first contact with Brazilian Zouk through Dance Days Betim academy, school with the best professionals in Minas Gerais; by whom he was trained.
Having street styles as a background has always made Wesley’s Zouk stylish, adding a funky and dynamic flavour to his moves.
In 2017 Wesley moved to Adelaide to be part Brasilatino Dança's team of instructors, being trained by the world renowned Arthur Santos and Layssa Liebscher.
From that, he has constantly improved his skills as dancer, instructor and choreographer in their school and shared his life of music knowledge in many national congresses.
Rachel started classical ballet at the age of 5 and danced in the South Australian Children's Ballet Company until she was 18. In 2013 she started her partnered dance journey dancing salsa.
Then in 2014 she fell in love with Zouk, dancing with world renowned artists, Arthur and Layssa. After studying under them for several years she joined their teaching team. Since then she has travelled around the world and Australia to train and develop her skills as a dancer, performer choreographer and instructor. Furthermore, she has performed in places such as Brazil and the Netherlands and countless national events.
They started teaching together in 2018 and decided to share their knowledge interstate from 2020
