4 Hours of Intensive Training with Anderson and Brenda on their own special 'Brenderson Technique' 😍

Here is a brief description of what this Intensive course is all about.

** INTRO

We have all seen the absolutely inspiring freedom of movement and beautiful flow of energy in the dances of this amazing partnership lately, and have a ton of appreciation for what they do as artists. ♥ And we know you’d like to hear and see and learn more from these wonderful instructors and beautiful people!

So…. we have organised an extra session on the Thursday 21st November, which will be aimed at the Advanced to Professional level Zouk dancer, to give the opportunity to learn directly from these dedicated and inspiring artists and to help with your own self development as a dancer.

** COURSE CONTENT:

Concepts of the 'Brenderson Technique' -
Focusing on: "EFFICIENT MOVEMENT AND FLOW"

In this 4 hours session we are going to share and teach you how we use the dance and the movement as a tool for connection with our body and mind.

We will start by teaching you a sequence of movements that we use to help our bodies to flow, and after that we will dive into the technique of effortless movement, awareness of muscle tension, and organization of the skeleton to flow the movement from toe-to-head.
We will also combine these studies into exercises that allow our mind and body to connect better to ourselves and with each other.

To finish off, we will take all of what we’ve covered and bring it into the sequence again to apply different qualities, dynamics and perceptions using the new philosophies and techniques you have learnt.

 

** LEVEL:

Advanced to Professional level Zouk dancers.**

4 Hours of Intensive Training with the amazing Bruna & Lucas. 😍

Here is a brief description of what this Intensive course is all about.

** INTRO

Lucas & Bruna are one of the most popular and inspiring dancers of Brazilian Zouk, and we are so looking forward to the amazing opportunity of having them join us for a wonderful festival and being able to learn from these amazing instructors and artists.

To maximise this rare opportunity, we are organising an extra Intensives session on the Thursday 21st November, to give our Zouk lovers some more personalised contact time to explore these wonderful artists’ philosophy and knowledge and teachings, and to help you to improve your dancing and connection with your dance partner.

This Intensives workshops will be aimed at our more experienced Zouk dancers (ideally with 2-3 years' training experience minimum) to explore and learn directly what techniques they use to create the inspiring, fun and beautiful movements which we see in their dance.

Lucas and Bruna, who epitomise creativity, energy and incredible dancing, will explain their methodology and techniques to focus on how to achieve smoother, cleaner movements and communication with your partner..

** COURSE CONTENT

"CONTACT TRIANGULATION"
Focusing On: Techniques for leader and follower communication (leading and following)

Bruna & Lucas will share their methods and exercises to explore the concepts of the Dance Triangle – Movement, Communication & Music

Extra Focus will be given to 'Communication' to facilitate more awareness and improve your partnership and lead and follow in your dance.

Some of the exercises will include:
- Experiences and visual techniques
- Kinesthetic experiments and techniques
- Experimental and auditory techniques
- How to use on Zouk movements

 

** LEVEL:
Advanced level Zouk dancers with min 2 years experience.


** WHEN:
Thursday the 21st Nov, 4 hours contact workshops from 12:00 – 4:30pm, with 1/2 hour break.

ZENZOUK INTENSIVE

4 Hours of Intensive Training with the fantastic Ry’el and Jessica. 😍

Aimed at the Intermediate level zouk dancer, bookings are now open and places are limited to 25 couples only

Ry’el and Jessica have created their ZenZouk methodology and techniques to help with understanding the universal body movements of zouk, and to increase you self awareness and expression, allowing you to become a more versatile and confident dancer.


Here is a brief description of what this Intensive course is all about.

** INTRO

Ry’el and Jessica are renowned in the Zouk community as beautiful and inspiring dancers of LambaZouk and Brazilian Zouk Lambada with many years’ experience.

This intensive course will give you the chance to immerse yourselves in their specifically designed exercises and to learn the ZenZouk philosophies based on the “elements” Including earth water fire and air- as symbols for analysing dance and personal movement.

** COURSE CONTENT"ZENZOUK ELEMENTS INTENSIVE"Focusing On: Self awareness in your dance and working on concepts and exercises that unlock the body to the move we are working on.ZenZouk Elements –Zenzouk Intro to Earth: Starting from the ground up, we will explore the fundamental rhythms footwork and connection found in Brazilian zouk lambada.Earth and Fire : Exploring the intensity and speed of Connection and how to apply it to fundamentals steps.Water and air: Training the body in the fluidity and lightness of movements within the frames, and how can it be applied to fundamentals stepsAir: In this class we will be focus in the complexity of continuous head movement techniques and how to safely apply it to fundamentals moves.
