4 Hours of Intensive Training with the fantastic Ry’el and Jessica. 😍 

Aimed at the Intermediate level zouk dancer, bookings are now open and places are limited to 25 couples only 

Ry’el and Jessica have created their ZenZouk methodology and techniques to help with  understanding the universal body movements of zouk, and to increase you self awareness and expression, allowing you to become a more versatile and confident dancer. 

Here is a brief description of what this Intensive course is all about.  

** INTRO  

Ry’el and Jessica are renowned in the Zouk community as beautiful and inspiring dancers of LambaZouk and Brazilian Zouk Lambada with many years’ experience. 

This intensive course will give you the chance to immerse yourselves in their specifically designed exercises and to learn the ZenZouk philosophies based on the “elements” Including earth water fire and air- as symbols for analysing dance and personal movement.  

COURSE CONTENT 

"ZENZOUK ELEMENTS INTENSIVE"  

Focusing On: Self awareness in your dance and working on concepts and exercises that unlock the body to the move we are working on.  

ZenZouk Elements –  

Zenzouk Intro to Earth: Starting from the ground up, we will explore the fundamental rhythms footwork and connection found in Brazilian zouk lambada.  

Earth and Fire : Exploring  the intensity and speed of Connection and how to apply it to fundamentals steps.  

Water and air: Training the body in the fluidity and lightness of movements within the frames, and how can it be applied to fundamentals steps 

Air: In this class we will be focus in the complexity of continuous head movement techniques and how to safely apply it to fundamentals moves. 

** LEVEL: 

 Intermediate level Zouk dancers. 

** WHEN: 

Thursday the 21st Nov, 4 hours contact workshops from 12:00 – 4:30pm, with 1/2 hour break. 

** LOCATION: 

Studio 1 - Old Museum, Bowen Bridge Rd, Bowen Hills

PRICING: 

$100 for 4 hours of training, which includes the Pre-party entry on Thurs 21st Nov.  

** BOOKINGS: 

Spaces for this 4-hour Intensive will be capped to 25 couples. 

Bookings can be made online through our website, and please reply as ‘Going’ to this Event.  

NOTE: For our interstate and overseas dancers, please ensure your flight bookings allow you time to arrive at the Old Museum on the Thursday, ready to start the course at no later than 12:00 noon.
