Luan & Adriana Intensive Course (incl Pre-Party entry)

3 Hours of Intensive Training & Practice Time with Luan and Adriana on their own special style of Musicality & Expression 😍. Luan & Adriana will explore an advanced movement sequence with you, incorporating their ideas, views and experience on how to bring in more expression, feeling and musicality into each and every dance. ✨

Here is a brief description of what this Intensive session is all about.

 INTRO

If you've seen any of this special couple's demos and performances, you will have been struck by their ability to convey to us their feeling and enjoyment in their dances. 💖 Whether it is bringing out the fun & playful elements of a song, or breathing in the sensual or emotional side of the dance, Luan and Adriana make sure to 'live each dance'. 💖

For our Advanced Dancers, we know you’ll love the opportunity to spend some dedicated time with these amazing artists to hear and see how they think about the topic of 'Musicality & Expression', and their techniques for bringing feeling and expression into their dance, as well as tips on bringing these elements into your own dance. 

The exploration will take place while also learning one of Luan & Adriana's favourite 'moves' so that you can get even more enjoyment out of your learning.  Throughout the Intensive Training, you will also have plenty of Practice Time to explore and incorporate your workshop learnings, whilst being overseen by Luan and Adriana who will circulate through the room to give feedback or tips to individuals. 

Note: For any of our Intermediate to Upper Intermedia Dancers who are worried about missing out on this course - Don't worry ! 

We will be sure to have Luan & Adriana offering some workshops on Musicality during the Festival weekend, specifically designed for you. 🙂

TIMING :

We have organised an extra session for Intensives on the Thursday 10th November.  This particular session will be aimed at the Advanced to Professional level Zouk dancer, to give the opportunity to learn directly, and in a smaller and more focused environment, from these dedicated and inspiring artists.

🧾COURSE CONTENT:

Concepts of 'Musicality & Expression'

Utilising: Exploration of 1 or more of Luan & Adriana's favourite 'moves', to learn the techniques behind the movement and to explore incorporating musicality into the sequence you've learned.

💰 INVESTMENT:

$95 for 3 HRS of Intensive Training & Practice Time with Luan & Adriana    PLUS Pre-Party Pass for Thursday night party is INCLUDED for our Intensive workshop attendees. 🙂

** PRE-REQUISITE:

Due to limited spaces being allocated for this workshop, we are opening this Advanced Intensive to just our most experienced Zouk dancers in our community (* typically 5yrs + of dedicated learning), as well as to our Instructors. This is to keep the material flowing at a level suitable to all attending, and for fairness to your fellow classmates.

(Pls Note thate that Advanced level workshops during Festival will typically be less challenging than Intensive courses, so if unsure we encourage you to check with the Organiser, or to take advantage of the Mathilde & Leo Intensive as a challenge.)
