Duncan Stark is one of the most exciting international dancers and performers on the Australian Latin Dance scene and has become one of Sydney’s most recognisable Latin Dance performers and instructors. He co-founded Sydney Zouk with his dance partner Jane Gamarnik in 2011. Having taught all across Australia, Duncan made his international debut as an instructor teaching Zouk at the 1st San Francisco Bachata International Festival in 2009 and returned in 2011 with Jane Gamarnik.
Since then he has taught workshop series in Asia, Europe and the USA. Recent highlights of his teaching career include Zouk Station at Goulburn in 2017 and The Sydney International Zouk Festival in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and the Zouk Paradise Weekender in 2017. Along with Zouk, Duncan also teaches Salsa and Bachata in Sydney. His fluid style focuses on connection and musicality. In 2016 he came second at the Australian Bachata Championships in the Professional Couples division and first in the Professional Freestyle Bachata Couples division at the Australian Salsa Solo with his Loli Bobadilla Zamora.
